Fonts

What makes people choose the fonts that they do? I like this one for the blog because it seems friendly (and there are only 8 font choices anyway). For work I usually choose Comic Sans MS because it is one of the only fonts to use an "a" without the curly top, the way most people print. I chose Allegro font for my Daybook because I teach music and Allegro is a music word. When running my first girls group I used girly fonts like Curlz...to be girly. Do people really think this much about fonts, or am I just really tired today?

A few years back when Jen, Chris Paul and I were doing a VBC we used the same font for everything. It was called "Agent Orange", that seemed wrong to me. So I hear you on the whole font thing...though, I am also pretty tired.

Hey Kristen- I enjoy your blog.

Hey Kristen, there are actually hundreds, maybe even thousands of fonts you can use for your blog, you just have to know html code stuff.

I concur with Gray, we did use agent orange for the vbs stuff, cause it's lots of fun. I got it from website www.fontfreak.com your computer generally comes with about 50-100 fonts, but losers like me who do graphics stuff like more fonts, so i have a good 10,000 fonts on my computer... lots of fun stuff. The problem with using a fancy font like agent orange for instance is, if you were to use it say on a blog, (which i wouldn't) other people viewing your site wouldn't see the cool font, they would just see it in arial or something like that, becuase useless everyone has that particualr font on their computer, no one will see it.

Fun font's are more for people who print out images with the fonts and stuff like that, or who know how to make it so every one can see the cool font say, on a website.. like i used agent orange on the xposed website, and everyone could see it, becuase it wasn't on the site as text, but as a picture file.

Anyways, thats my rant on fonts.

Chris

Congrats to you guys on expecting your 2nd child! I did not know that.

Take great care of yourself!

blessings on you and Jon and your cute little guy.

From the perspective of a grandparent, I also liked your comments about toys and getting to play with them again! Being child-like is good and it enhances creativity!
